Summary

BeRaw is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1. In plain language:

• Personal use is free. Use BeRaw as an individual, for mood boards, design research, hobby projects, evaluation, and academic work — forever, at no cost.
• Commercial use requires a paid license. Any use by or on behalf of a company, organization, government body, or other entity — including internal business use, redistribution as part of a product, reselling, or building a commercial service around BeRaw — needs a separate commercial license. Email for terms.
• On 2030-04-22 (the Change Date), the license automatically converts to the Apache License 2.0. From that date onward BeRaw is fully open source under Apache 2.0 and commercial restrictions lift.

Not sure which category you fall into? If you're paying for it with a company card, if your employer will benefit from it, or if you're packaging it into something you sell — you're commercial. Just ask.
