Terms of Service
Only the English text on this page is legally binding. Translations elsewhere on the site are provided for convenience only.
1. Acceptance
By installing, accessing, or using BeRaw (the "Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
2. Description of Service
BeRaw is a Chrome browser extension that scans the currently open Behance page in your browser, outlines the large images on the page, and lets you download them as individual files or as a single ZIP archive. The Software runs entirely in your browser on your local machine.
3. License
BeRaw is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1.
- Personal, non-commercial use by an individual end user is permitted free of charge.
- Commercial use — use by or on behalf of any company, organization, governmental body, or other entity — requires a separate commercial license.
- On 2030-04-22 (the Change Date), the license converts to the Apache License 2.0.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to comply with applicable laws and with any terms of the third-party services you visit while BeRaw is enabled (including Behance's Terms of Use). In particular, you will not use BeRaw to:
- violate Behance's Terms of Use or any other website's terms of service;
- access, scrape, or redistribute content you do not have the rights to;
- infringe on the intellectual property, moral rights, or privacy of any creator;
- resell, redistribute, or republish downloaded images as if they were your own work;
- circumvent technical access controls or private/login-gated content;
- build automated scraping pipelines that violate applicable laws or platform policies.
5. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for what you do with files you download through BeRaw, including ensuring you have the right to use them and that your use complies with the original creator's licenses, Behance's terms, and applicable copyright law. BeRaw only downloads what your browser is already permitted to load; it does not unlock private, paywalled, or login-gated content.
6. Privacy
BeRaw does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers. All data — including your selected language, the current output format, and your selected images — stays on your local machine. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. BeRaw's image-URL rewriting depends on Behance's current CDN layout; if Behance changes that layout, some features may temporarily stop working until BeRaw is updated.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall hooosberg or the authors of BeRaw be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Software.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always posted on this page and in the GitHub repository. Material changes will be announced in the repository's release notes.
